More Info: Fine white powder, odourless. OIL MISCIBLE Properties absorber of the full UV spectrum of sun rays short UVB to long UVA, soothing effects widely used against skin irritations, antifungal properties it is one of the key active ingredients in many baby powders.

Use can be added to formulas as is, recommended concentration 1% - 25%  

(very difficult to get more than 20% into an emulsified cream but you might get full 25% into a balm)

Can be combined with other sun screen pigments. Applications sun care after-sun products, protective soothing skin care products, mineral makeup.

Zinc oxide is a naturally occurring product - extracting it is a pretty brutal and often unregulated gig.  Therefore most  zinc oxide is manufactured synthetically - as is ours.
