Prime Ministers of Canada Charles Tupper Commemorative Medal
This medal commemorates Sir Charles Tupper, who served as the sixth Prime Minister of Canada from May 1, 1896, until his resignation on July 8, 1896, following his party’s defeat in the 1896 Canadian federal election. He remains the only medical doctor to have held the office of Prime Minister, and his 69-day tenure is the shortest in Canadian history.
