Israel 1980 Transition 7-Coin Mint Set (wear/tear)
This mint set from Israel features the seven coins, illustrating the transition from lira to sheqel. Included are the old 1 agora, 10 agorot, and 1 lira coins, and the new 1 agora, 5 agorot, 10 agorot, and 1/2 sheqel coins. Israel's coinage is inspired by ancient Jewish motifs, recalling events such as the reign of the Herodian tetrarchy and the Jewish-Roman wars of the first and second centuries.
Please note, this set includes the original outer box, but there is some visible wear, especially along the edges. The plastic case shows some minor scratches and scuffs.
