Gardenia Absolute

gardenia jasminoides

Cas 68916-47-2

clear yellow/orange oil extracted from the flowers by ethanol.

it is strong in odour, creamy sweet, modifed by a little waxiness,  but not too overpoweringly sweet.

There is a distinct  jasmine note as well.

Oil is a mix of French and Asian material - this is done to optimise the organoleptic profile
