Estate Lot of 20x Germany 1910-1922 Banknotes, Various Denominations, 20pcs
Banknotes are tangible pieces of history that can, at times, chart the rise and fall of nation-states. This lot, dated 1910 through 1922, traces the outline of one such event: the fall of the German Empire through the years of the Great War, and the birth of the Weimar Republic that followed. The lot includes small bundles of notes from four key years: 1910, 1914, 1918, and 1922, documenting the peak of the German Empire, the start and end of the war, and the dawn of the Weimar Republic. A total of twenty ungraded notes are included.
