2008 100th Anniversary of the Royal Canadian Mint Commemorative Medallion (Sealed!)
The very first domestically produced coin in Canada's history was struck in 1908. It was a fifty-cent piece. Today, the Royal Canadian Mint is a global leader in minting, having produced, among other groundbreaking firsts, the very first coloured circulation coin. To mark this landmark institution's 100th birthday, this commemorative medallion was issued featuring two Canadian icons: a maple leaf and a loon.
This item comes in its original shrinkwrapped packaging.
